The paper examines the written monuments of the Middle Ages as a coherent linguistic heritage. Based on a comprehensive study of the language of written monuments, their consonance with the spiritual culture of the Kazakhs is shown. An attempt is made to reveal the linguistic picture of the world through linguistic phenomena based on the ideological community of the ancient Kipchak culture and modern Kazakh culture, identifying language and ethnicity as a single whole. To achieve this goal, an ethnocultural analysis of phraseological units as keepers and bearers of the linguistic picture of the world is made.
Specific data substantiates the ability of stable phrases in the language of written monuments to convey cultural information about the national mentality. This indicates the unity, community and integrity of the language with the worldview and worldview, the cultural tradition of the Kazakhs, which begins upon from the origins of time.
