Abstract

The article analyzes the activities of the People's Commissariat of Education in Kazakhstan in the 1920s and 40s, the activities of public education, the fight against illiteracy, cultural and educational work, and the documents of the 1692 Foundation in the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Protocols, reports, orders, and reports reflecting the activities of the Commissariat of Public Education of the Kazakh ASSR are indicated. The content of statistical data , letters , etc. is disclosed. Mistakes in the field of education and solutions are analyzed using examples based on archival documents. The work of national schools is indicated, as well as the names of major persons involved in their implementation. During this period, national schools were opened in order to preserve national and cultural characteristics, develop education and culture of the Kazakh people, and worked under the political influence of the Soviet system. The study, conducted on the basis of archival documents, examines such issues as the creation and development of Kazakh schools, curricula, languages of instruction, teacher training and their social activities. This study is aimed at determining the political course of the education system of the Soviet period, the activities of national schools and the influence of Kazakh society on the growth of the level of education. In the period from the 1920s to the 40s, the tasks of education, the role of Kazakh schools under political influences and social changes are revealed, and the achievements and difficulties of the nation in the education system are deeply analyzed.
