Abstract

The article analyzes the customs and habits used in the food system of the Kazakh people regarding dishes. This is considered as the main value system of traditional Kazakh society, the order of eating each dish and the traditions preserved in the people are presented. The purpose of the article is to analyze the customs, taboos and traditions of the people in the life support system. For this, the author used special ethnographic literature and data, as well as information obtained from informants. To process these data and literature, special methods were used, such as historical comparative methods, ethnographic observations, discursive comparison. As a result, it was found that most of the habits of the Kazakh people were formed in the context of family traditions, including the food system and household utensils. This shows that some hidden aspects of ethnographic works need to be rethought. In addition, the research article uses proverbs and sayings from everyday historical stories, often used in folk literature.
