Abstract

The article analyzes the problem of forming personal competence in the management activities of the head of an educational institution in the new socio-economic and socio- professional conditions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The professional competence of the head of an educational institution is considered as a tendency to innovation in education and the ability to adapt to a changing pedagogical environment, the issue of forming a methodology for the formation of personal competence is justifie d. The need to develop the personal competence of the head in the management of an educational institution is justified by an analysis of approaches, structures and methods of developing personal competence, formed on the basis of professional and functional knowledge, skills, skills and qualities, indicators of personal competence and quality that make up this competence are identified and described - personal, socio-psychological, organizational and managerial and perceptual leadership qualities. Based on scientific and theoretical analysis, author's definitions of such terms as personal competencies, personal  competence, managerial competence, personal competence, personal competence of the head of an educational institution are given. The components and criteria of the level of formation of personal competence of the head are highlighted. In the structure of personal competence of heads of educational institutions, 4 groups of qualities are defined: personal-personal qualities, organizational-managerial qualities, socio-psychological qualities and perceptual-leadership qualities.
