This scientific-theoretical article provides a comprehensive analysis of the preservation and adaptation of Kazakh traditions in the context of globalization. The focus is on Kazakhstan's historical and cultural heritage, its importance in contemporary society, and the challenges posed by accelerating globalization processes. The article examines both the positive and negative impacts of globalization, such as the risk of cultural identity erosion, the simplification and commercialization of traditional practices, and the opportunities for utilizing digital technologies to preserve cultural heritage and foster intercultural dialogue. Strategies for adapting traditions are proposed, emphasizing the role of state policies, educational initiatives, mass media, and active involvement of civil society and local communities. Particular attention is paid to specific examples of successful adaptation, such as integrating Kazakh patterns into modern design, incorporating folk music elements into contemporary compositions, and reimagining national cuisine in innovative ways. The conclusion highlights the necessity of a comprehensive approach that unites the efforts of the government, educational institutions, civil society, and other stakeholders to preserve Kazakhstan’s unique culture as an essential part of its national identity and cultural heritage. The article underscores that only through collaborative efforts can traditions be effectively adapted and passed on to future generations.
