FEATURES OF EFFECTIVE USE OF INTERROGATIVE PRONOUNS IN PUBLIC SPEECH

The article is devoted to the consideration of the function and strategic use of interrogative pronouns (who, what, what, where, when, why, why, how) in public speech.
In the article, the author aims to give specific recommendations to the speaker-speaker based on the analysis of scientific, theoretical and practical aspects of the use of interrogative pronouns in public speech. In this regard, from a sociolinguistic point of view, the mechanisms of audience engagement, information structuring and attention management through questions are described in accordance with the theoretical provisions of pragmatics, cognitive linguistics and rhetoric using methods of meaningful and comparative analysis.
The table shows the classification of interrogative pronouns used in the structure of speech, in accordance with the strategic purpose and function performed. Based on the above classification, practical recommendations are given on the formulation of questions, the use of intonation, the effective placement of questions in the text of speech and the assessment of their rationality.
As a result of the research, the author offers a guide on preparing a speech for a speaker in accordance with the peculiarities of using interrogative pronouns in the structure of public speech.
