THE COURSE OF MISSIONARY POLICY IN THE WESTERN REGION OF KAZAKHSTAN

The article aims to show the relevance of this topic by analyzing the historical context, social, cultural and political aspects of missionary policy in the western region. The course of missionary policy in the western region of Kazakhstan is an important subject from the point of view of studying the interaction between history, culture and religions. It is important to understand how missionary activities were carried out, taking into account the characteristics inherent in this region, including the ethnic and religious diversity of nations and peoples, as well as the historical development of the region. The study examines the features and results of missionary activity in the western region of Kazakhstan, the impact of this activity on Kazakh society and its religious and spiritual world. The authors analyzed the main directions and goals of the activities of missionaries in the western region of the Kazakh steppe through archival data, focused on the consequences of the imperial policy on the religious beliefs of the local population, changes in the religious situation in Kazakhstan. According to the methods of historical analysis and comparison of the study, a review of scientific articles and monographic works, doctoral dissertations on the pages of the Periodical Press was carried out, documents of funds 174-175 of the Orenburg Regional State Archive, funds 25-64 of the Central state archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan were analyzed and scientific conclusions were made.
