The article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the lexical and grammatical characteristics of the Kazakh and Russian languages in the context of bilingual education.
The purpose of the study is to identify the structural features of each language, as well as to determine the similarities and differences that affect the process of language acquisition in a bilingual educational environment.
The methodological basis of the study was the methods of comparative and structural analysis, as well as elements of the descriptive approach. This approach allowed for a systematic study of lexical units, morphological forms and syntactic constructions of the two languages.
The analysis revealed typological differences related to the languages belonging to different language families. The Kazakh language belongs to the Kypchak group of the Turkic language family, while Russian belongs to the East Slavic subgroup of the Indo-European language family.
Particular attention in the work is paid to the difficulties that teachers and students face when switching between languages with different grammatical structures.
The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comprehensive approach to comparative analysis focused on pedagogical practice. The results of the work can be used in developing curricula, creating methodological materials and developing bilingual competence in teachers.
