THE HISTORY OF MUSEUM RESTORATION IN KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the history of museum restoration in Kazakhstan, which is an urgent topic in the national historical science. In scientific works published to this day, the formation and development of the country's museum system is considered as a single event. And some areas of museum business have not been fully studied.

The author described the state of museum restoration before the October Revolution and the role of folk blacksmiths and artisans in the restoration of historical artifacts of that time. The article examines in detail the transition of the museum restoration of Soviet times to a new stage, examines the course of formation of professional restorers. Also, based on archival data, an analysis of the problems faced by the museums of Kazakhstan in organizing restoration work was carried out.

The achievement of sovereignty by our country paved the way for the development of national culture. The research paper analyzes important projects implemented by museums of Kazakhstan in the field of restoration during the years of independence, and their results. The accumulated problems and ways to solve them in the development of the modern restoration industry are also considered.
