Abstract

The article discusses the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for detecting and preventing cyberattacks, which is an essential part of modern cybersecurity. In the context of the rapid growth in the number and complexity of cyber threats, traditional defense methods such as antivirus programs and intrusion detection systems (IDS) are proving inadequate for effectively protecting information systems. The problem of identifying and neutralizing new and previously unknown attacks requires the implementation of more advanced technologies, with AI playing a key role. The article analyzes current challenges in cybersecurity, such as the evolution of attacks, their increasing complexity, and the ability of cybercriminals to bypass traditional defense methods. It is noted that AI has unique capabilities to enhance protection, including the ability to learn from large volumes of data, detect anomalies, and identify unknown threats. The main AI methods used in cybersecurity are outlined, including machine learning, neural networks, and natural language processing, which enable the creation of more intelligent and adaptive defense systems.

The key conclusions of the article are that AI provides significant advantages in the fight against cyber threats and is becoming an essential tool for ensuring security in the context of modern digital transformation. Despite existing problems and limitations, its use is an inevitable step toward creating a more secure information environment.
