The problem of uncontrolled release of gas into consumers' cylinders negatively affects the subsequent operation of vessels, in terms of safety of use and storage, leads to depressurization of cylinders, gas leakage, explosions and unjustified casualties among the population. This circumstance is aggravated by the active introduction into domestic practice of the use of cylinders made of composite materials, the standard sizes of which have a wide range of nomenclature, formed by each manufacturer independently. At the same time, filling of cylinders carried out individually by the consumer occurs without due attention to strict control of the mass of gas poured into the cylinder.
This article substantiates the need to implement cylinder filling control at gas release points to improve the efficiency of the points and ensure the safety of operation of liquefied petroleum gas cylinders. A product release control program has been developed that takes into account the gas composition, vessel capacity, gas temperature and subsequent operation or storage. Statistical processing of gas supply data by month has been carried out, taking into account the climatic zones of operation in the absence and availability of control. An increase in the maintenance of cylinders and the period of additional operation of the gas storage and release capacity has been established with the introduction of a control system.
