Abstract

This study examines the influence of various high-octane additives and additives on the chemical-mathematical and operational properties of automotive gasoline. Alkylates, isomerizates, reformates, methyl tert-butyl ether, isopropyl alcohol, and monomethylaniline were used as high-octane components. Experimental data showed that the addition of these components significantly increases the octane number of gasoline, which directly improves fuel combustion quality and increases engine power. In addition, an improvement in the engine’s operational parameters was observed, ensuring more efficient and economical vehicle operation, as well as reduced fuel consumption and decreased engine wear.

Special attention was given to environmental aspects: the introduction of these additives helps reduce the levels of harmful emissions into the atmosphere, which is important for minimizing negative environmental impact and complies with modern ecological norms and standards. Additional additives proved effective in increasing the corrosion resistance of the fuel and demonstrated pronounced anti-knock properties, contributing to engine durability and reliability.

The obtained results are preliminary and require further verification in large-scale tests; however, they open prospects for optimizing gasoline production with improved characteristics. The study provides an important basis for further developments in fuel technologies and environmentally safe solutions for the automotive industry, stimulating innovation and increasing fuel use efficiency under modern conditions.
